Important Dates
August 5- First Day to Apply for Mail-In Ballot

September 24- First day to vote early or by mail.
October 19- First day of county-wide early voting.
November 3- Election Day
Make sure to cast your vote and make your voice heard on the ballots. Polls are open from 6am-7pm.
Special Note on Mail-in Ballots: As of late August 2026, mail-in ballot systems are still protected in Illinois. We encourage those who vote by mail to mail their completed ballot by October 27th, a week before Election Day, to ensure it reaches the election authorities in time. If you have reservations about mailing your ballot via USPS, you can always drop it off at a drop box, an early voting site, or your voting location on Election Day.
